Cheatham Hill Elementary School

Cheatham Hill Elementary is a member of the Cobb County Public School System and we serve Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The "Hill" is nestled inside a residential area not far from the historic Kennesaw National Battlefield Park.

Our school opened in 1997 with 950 students from Dowell, Milford, Fair Oaks and Still Elementary schools. Cheatham Hill currently houses over 1,100 students. After completion of fifth grade, students feed into Smitha, Pine Mountain, and Lovinggood Middle Schools and later Kennesaw Mountain, Hillgrove, and Osborne High Schools. Our students bring a diversity of cultures and backgrounds and enhance our school with their academic and social contributions.

Cheatham Hill Elementary has a tradition of excellence. Working together, the learning environment is supported by dedicated staff, parents and community leaders. Our award-winning PTA has received many state recognitions. Additionally, our Cheatham Hill Educational Foundation actively works to enhance the school environment.

Cheatham Hill’s mission statement is 'Developing the minds, hearts and spirits of CHAMPIONS' and it is promoted through many enrichment opportunities.
